1. Introduction

Welcome to Pumba Lodge Hoedspruit. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of accommodation at our lodge. By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Reservations and Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Pumba Lodge and the required deposit has been received.

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking
• Full payment is typically required prior to arrival
• Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees may apply:

• More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund less administration fee
• 14-30 days before arrival: 50% of total booking value
• Less than 14 days before arrival: 100% of total booking value
• No-shows: 100% of total booking value

4. Check-in and Check-out

Standard check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and respect the property, wildlife, and other guests. Pumba Lodge reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests who violate these standards.

• Respect wildlife and maintain safe distances at all times
• Do not feed or approach wild animals
• Follow all safety instructions provided by lodge staff
• No excessive noise that may disturb wildlife or other guests

6. Liability

Pumba Lodge is located within a wildlife estate with free-roaming animals. Guests acknowledge the inherent risks associated with being in close proximity to wildlife. The lodge shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from interactions with wildlife, provided reasonable safety measures have been communicated.

The lodge is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Guests are advised to secure valuables and consider travel insurance.

7. Children

Children are welcome at Pumba Lodge. However, parents or guardians are responsible for their supervision at all times, particularly given the presence of wildlife on the property.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Pumba Lodge and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Changes to Terms

Pumba Lodge reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law
